The Cedar Lounge team took a well-deserved break from the hustle of pub life with a fantastic staff day out at the iconic Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. From the moment we stepped through the gates at St. James’s to the final sip in the Gravity Bar, the day was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of Guinness magic.
We explored the history behind Ireland’s most famous stout, wandered through the brewing floors, and learned exactly what goes into crafting the perfect pint. The staff favourite? The Guinness Academy—where we put our pouring skills to the test and proudly earned our certificates (with plenty of friendly competition along the way!).
The day wrapped up with breathtaking views over Dublin from the Gravity Bar, pints in hand and smiles all around. It was the perfect chance to relax, bond, and appreciate the brilliant team that keeps The Cedar Lounge running every day.
